Follow these instructions to reset the maintenance required light on your Toyota Sienna.
The maintenance required light turns on when the vehicle needs regular maintenance, such as an oil change. To reset this yourself is a very simple process.
Resetting the Maintenance Required Light
Step 1: Start with the key in the LOCK (off) position.
Step 2: Press and hold the ODO/TRIP button.
Step 3: While holding the ODO/TRIP button down, turn the key to the ON position. Continue to hold the button for another 5 seconds or so, until the Maintenance Required light turns off.
That’s it. Hope this helps.
If this didn’t work for you, make sure that the odometer button is showing the total miles before you begin the process. Also, this is the procedure for the maintenance required light, NOT the Check Engine Light (CEL). For instructions on reading check engine codes, refer to this post.
